Am I doing this right?

I had a Golf on loan while the Phaeton was in its second home (the shop) for an extended period last summer. It was the gas-powered base model, but I still loved it. If (when) the Galant bites the dust, I'm hoping to pick up a Golf TDI. The stable could use another VW.
